If I wanted to take over, I would first buy up all the media
outlets and get rid of anyone who disagreed with me.

I would secretly fund a group that purports to represent the common
man but use them as a mechanism to further my agenda.

I would twist religion to make anyone who disagrees with me,
'other' and 'evil' and I would twist the message of stewardship
into one of prosperity at all costs by perverting the word of God.

I would feign outrage at a president who has some personal
peccadilloes while I indulge in those same practices but hide mine
better.

I would make sure that I labeled anyone who disagreed with me as
against me and ultimately a traitor.

I would take a war hero who runs against my team and label him a
coward (maybe even publish books about it).

I've never been one for conspiracies but this is starting to sound
like a doozy.
